Northern Connecticut Girls' Softball League
1998 SEASON SUMMARY
The Northern Connecticut Girls' Softball League was organized in 1998 as a U-15 summer league designed to provide area players an affordable season of competitive fastpitch softball. The league adopted most of the C.I.A.C. rules which govern local school programs. Two five-team divisions, North and South, were formed from the eight original member towns with Enfield entering three teams. Of note, seven of these ten teams were from N.C.C.C. member towns. A total of 170 players participated in our first season.
