West Hartford at Enfield - postponed by rain to Friday, June 20th.
Suffield at Manchester - postponed by rain to Saturday, July 19th.
- Wednesday, June 18th
Windsor 13, Canton 1. Emily Parker pitched Windsor over Canton 13-1, striking out nine in four innings. Miranda Marris went 4-4, with a double, and scored 4 of Windsor's runs. Emily Neddermann pitched well for Canton, striking out three and handling three defensive assists. Amber Batan singled and scored Canton's lone run. Alex Powell had Canton's only other hit and also made a very nice catch on a pop fly to right field.
Granby 9, Manchester 5.
Tolland at Coventry - suspended in the 4th inning; to be resumed 7/23.
Suffield at Enfield (EWS) - postponed by rain to Friday, July 11th.
- Friday, June 20th
Coventry 8, Windsor 5. In a rain-shortened game, the Coventry Crushers defeated Windsor 8-5 in five innings. Windsor scored the first five runs with great hits and aggressive baserunning but Coventry battled back to score eight and take the win. Stephanie Morin turned in a great pitching performance and also helped her cause with a triple. An unassisted double play by Lindsay Williams in the top of the fifth plus contributions from everyone on the team led to the win.
West Hartford 11, Enfield 10. (from 6/16) West Hartford downed the Enfield Fireballs 11-10. Enfield was led by Olivia Baillargeon who had three hits, including a two-run homer. Sam DelConte and Danielle Lavender both had two hits.

Enfield 20, West Hartford 3. The Enfield Fireballs defeated West Hartford by a score of 20-3. Enfield was paced by Tina Leonardo, Sam DelConte (double), Olivia Baillargeon and Kenzie Vermette, who each had three hits. Danielle Lavender was the winning pitcher. West Hartford was led by Molly Swanson and Rory Morgan, who each had a hit.
Coventry 4, Granby 3.
10:40AM Games
Suffield 14, West Hartford 7. Suffield opened the season with a 14-7 victory over West Hartford behind a strong pitching performance by Kacey Gifford (3IP, 2H, 8K, 2R). Suffield's offense was paced by Lauren Gifford (2 hits, 2 runs scored). Michele and Sarag D'Agata each added hits and were perfect at the plate. For West Hartford, Colleen Goroshko (double, 2 runs scored) and Gabrielle Collins (single) played well offensively.
Enfield 8, at Manchester 3. Enfield downed Manchester by a score of 8-3. Enfield was led by Liz Rogers, who had three hits and 2 RBIs, and Sam DelConte, who had two hits, 2 RBIs and a double. Olivia Baillargeon earned the victory. Manchester was led by Bella Colletti, who singled and scored a run.
Tolland 11, Canton 2. Tolland downed Canton 11-2 with solid defense and good hitting by Shania Carter (2 doubles, 2 runs), Andy Devaney (2 hits, 2 runs) and Lexis Lyonnis (double, run). Canton's Morgan Scafuri pitched well, striking out 4 in four innings. Grace Hammond and Kim Bastan scored Canton's runs. Tolland allowed just three hits and ended the game with a triple play.
12:20PM Games
Suffield 9, Manchester 3. Suffield followed up with another strong pitching performance by Alexa Pallotti (5IP, 0H, 12K). Lauren Gifford (2 hits), Angelica Banning (1 hit, 1 run) and Sam Thomas (1 hit, 2 runs) led the offense. Laura Somerville played well defensively. For Manchester, Cameron Dias pitched well (3IP, 1H, 4K). Bella Colletti McKenzie Sisson and Chelsey Tinson each scored a run to lead the offense.
Granby 11, Tolland 1. Granby's offense was led by Sarah Boardman, Renee Lareau and Courtney Ahrens, each with two hits and two runs scored. Courtney Ahrens pitched four very strong innings, striking out nine and allowing just one run.
Coventry 15, Canton 0.
2:00PM Game
Granby 4, Tolland 3. (from 6/16) Brittany Schultz and Samantha Groskritz supplied the offense for Granby. Brittany also pitched 6 strong innings, striking out six Tolland batters.

Coventry 12, Enfield 2. The Coventry Crushers defeated Enfield 12-2. A great pitching performance by Eileen Zadrozny along with a solid game behind the plate by Kara Sander led to the victory. Olivia Baillargeon pitched well for Enfield and Danielle Lavender had a good game at the shortstop position.
Manchester at Windsor - rescheduled to Sunday, July 13th.
Suffield at Tolland - rescheduled to Thursday, July 24th.
Canton at West Hartford - rescheduled to Saturday, July 19th.
- Friday, June 27th
Coventry 8, Enfield 4. (from 6/23) Coventry downed Enfield 8-4 in a close game highlighted by great pitching from Stephanie Morin, who got the win, and Enfield's Olivia Baillargeon. Kaila Parsons made two awesome catches in centerfield for Coventry. The offenses were led by Eileen Zadrozny for Coventry and Liz Rogers for Enfield.
- Monday, July 7th
Windsor 8, Enfield 4. Emily Parker pitched a complete game, striking out seven. She also had an RBI-single. Gillian Flynn and Macy Fenlason each had RBI-doubles.
Tolland 23, Manchester 13. Tolland's offense was led by Shaina Carter, who went 3 for 3 with a triple, double and 5 runs scored. Haley Durost went 4 for 4 with a double and also played well defensively and Alexis Lyonnais went 5 for 5 with a double. Bella Colletti, Cam Dias and Kristen DeCiantis played well for Manchester.
Granby 22, West Hartford 1. Granby's bats came alive with 17 hits on their way to a 22-1 victory over West Hartford. Brittany Schultz, Sarah Boardman, Courtney Ahrens, Erin Walsh, Michaela Gothers, Megan Nilson, Sam Gilbert and Amanda Jacobs each had multiple hits for Granby. Gothers (6 Ks) and Schultz (7 Ks) each pitched three innings. Gabrielle Collins had a hit and scored the West Hartford run. Their defense was led by Molly Swanson, who pitched two innings, striking out three.
Suffield 5, Canton 2. Alexa Pallotti and Kacey Gifford combined to pitch a 3-hitter with 13Ks as Suffield outlasted a tough Canton team, 5-2. Michele D'Agata had two hits for Suffield to pace the offense. For Canton, Morgan Scafuri pitched innings 3 through 6 with 5 strikeouts and also singled and scored. Sam Bosse had a double in the 5th inning and Kelly Andrien and Lindsay Sugar each added hits. A well played game by both teams.

Tolland 11, Enfield 8. Tolland came from behind to win behind Shaina Cater's triple plating the tieing run and Alayna Zevallos' base-clearing double. Kierra Laramie played well defensively and chipped in with a hit and great baserunning. Tina Leonardo and Sam DelConte played well for Enfield.
Coventry 13, West Hartford 2. Coventry beat WEst Hartford 13-2. West Hartford handed in a great pitching effort by Gaby Collins and Phoebe Rita. A great atbat by Mariah Francis, a solid hit by Nicole Uccello and a well-placed bunt by Hope Herzog contributed to Coventry's victory.
Granby 9, Suffield 5. Granby's victory was led by solid base hitting by Brittany Schultz, Erin Walsh and some great baserunning by Jessie Storch. Courtney Ahrens pitched six innings, striking out eleven and allowing just two hits. Suffield kept the game tight with some great defense led by Nicole Wagner and Clarissa Burke and some great work from behind the plate by Angelica Banning.
Canton 15, Manchester 7. Canton's pitchers Morgan Scafuri struck out three in the first three innings and Gabby Rose struck out four in working the last three innings. Jess Falzone played solid defense, catching all 6 innings. Jess and Morgan also both went 3 for 3 and scored three runs. Bella Colletti went 3 for 3 for Manchester and scored three runs.
- Friday, July 11th
Suffield 11, Enfield 4. (from 6/18) Lexi Pallotti and Anna Boucher combined to pitch a 4-hitter as Suffield topped Enfield 11-4. Angelica Banning was 2-2 with 2 BB and 2 runs scored. Sam Thomas and Michele D'Agata added clutch base hits and Marissa Webb played outstanding defense in right field. Gianna Bodnar scored twice with superb baserunning. For Enfield, Danielle Lavender was 2 for 3. Sam DelConte tripled and Olivia Baillargeon singled.
Coventry 22, Manchester 0. (from 7/21) Coventry downed Manchester 22-0 behind the pitching of Eileen Zadrozny and Lindsay Williams. Taylor Armstrong, Jen Dube and Nicole Uccello led the offensive effort. Bella Colletti, Cameron Dias and Kristen Deciantis played well for Manchester.

- Monday, July 14th
Granby 9, Canton 8. (from 6/23; played at Canton) Granby squeaked out a 9-8 victory over Canton. Granby's offense was led by Brittany Schultz, with two base hits, and Hayley Schulz, who drove in the winning run with a clutch base hit. Erin Walsh was the winning pitcher, striking out six in 5 innings. Courtney Ahrens pitched one inning, striking out three. Canton's Gabby Rose struck out four in three innings of work. Sarah Allen played solid defense with five putouts, including all three in the first inning. Grace Hammond went 2-2 and scord a run.
Granby 13, Canton 12.
Coventry 8, Suffield 2. Coventry topped Suffield 8-2. Both teams had great pitching efforts; Stephanie Morin for Coventry and Kacey Gifford for Suffield. Standouts for Suffield in the field were Gianna Bodner at first base and Mariah Peck. Marissa Webb was aggressive on the bases. Winning by playing small ball and having smart atbats were Jessica Voros, Kara Sander and Mariah Francis, assisted by solid fielding by the defense.
Windsor 17, West Hartford 11.
Enfield at Manchester - rescheduled to Friday, July 25th.
- Wednesday, July 16th
Canton 10, West Hartford 8. Canton's Morgan Scafuri pitched the entire game, picking up eight strikeouts. Alex Powell and Emily Neddermann each went 2 for 2 and scored once. Hannah Pidgeon went 2 for 2 with a double and scored a run. Grace Hammond went 2 for 3 and scored a run. For West Hartford, Molly Swanson also went the distance, striking out three, and went 2 for 2 at the plate and scored a run. Phoebe Rita also singled twice and scored a run. Colleen Goroshko and Rory Morgan each had a double.
Granby 14, Enfield 10. It took seven innings, but Granby outlasted Enfield by a score of 14 to 10. The Granby offense was led by Sam Groskritz, Brittany Schultz and Courtney Ahrens. Ahrens and Michaela Gothers split the pitching duties, combining for seven strikeouts. Sam DelConte had two hits for Enfield and Tina Leonardo scored three runs on a hit and two walks.
Windsor 6, Tolland 5.

Tolland 14, West Hartford 11. (from 6/23) Tolland came from behind in an exciting game led by Alayna Zevallos' (3IP,0H,4K) scoreless relief pitching and Shaina Carter's 3-run homer. Kierra Laramie went 4 for 4 with two runs scored. Amanda Noble was 3 for 3 with two doubles and three runs scored. Kim Skoff played well defensively for Tolland. West Hartford was led by Gabi Collins, Lizzy Lagoy, Phoebe Rita and Julia DeLutrie.
Windsor 12, Canton 1.

- Saturday, July 19th
Suffield 19, Manchester 4. (from 6/16) Marissa Webb pitched well for Suffield to earn the win. Anna Boucher was 2 for 2 and scored four runs. Clarissa Burke and Nicole Wagner played well defensively. For Manchester, Bella Colletti scored two runs. Reyna Quintero and Sarah Piggott played exceptional defense.
Canton 18, West Hartford 12. (from 6/25) Canton's Gabby Rose (5Ks) and Morgan Scafuri (4Ks) split the pitching three innings each. Sarah Allen went 4 for 4 with two doubles, a triple, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Hannah Pidgeon also went 3 for 3, with 2 RBIs and a run scored. West Hartford's Sarah Hebb made her pitching debut, working the first three innings, striking out two. Phoebe Rita pitched the last three innings in relief and also singled and scored a run. Molly Swanson played solid defense at third base, singled and scored a run.
- Sunday, July 20th
Enfield 8, Manchester 4. (from 7/18) The Enfield Fireballs rallied to defeat Manchester by an 8-4 score in a well played game on a steamy Saturday morning. Serena Manzi earned the win for Enfield, pitching five strong innings and allowing just one hit. Sam DelConte and Olivia Baillargeon
led the Fireballs' offense. Chelsey Tinson played well for Manchester.
- Monday, July 21st
Granby 8, Windsor 7. Granby eeked out an 8-7 win by scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth after Windsor had just pulled ahead with a run in the top of the sixth. Sam Groskritz and Sarah Boardman scored the tieing and winning runs with timely hitting and some aggressive baserunning. Windsor's Miranda Marris had an excellant overall game and Kayla Sanborn was the defensive star with a couple of great plays in the outfield.
Suffield 14, Tolland 5. Suffield was led by outstanding defense by Samantha Thomas, who made a spectacular catch on a ball hit by Haley Drost of Tolland that would have gone for at least a double. Samantha added her own double in the third inning. Clarissa Burke added a hit and played well at shortstop. Nicole Wagner was perfect at the plate. Gianna Bodnar also chipped in with a double. For Tolland, Shaina Carter and Amanda Noble each had base hits. Alexis Lyonnais added a double and an RBI.
West Hartford 13, Canton 11. West Hartford bested Canton in a close, well-played game. Gabby Collins pitched a complete game and reached base on all four of her plate appearances. Lizzy Lagoy made three nice catches in centerfield. Demille Montalvo, who improved tremendously as a catcher, reached base and scored three times.

- Wednesday, July 23rd (Geographic Rivalry Day)
Coventry 1, Tolland 0. (from 6/18) In a game resumed in the bottom of the 4th inning from a rain delay on June 18th, Coventry topped Tolland 1-0. Great pitching efforts were turned in by Stephanie Morin (Coventry) and Alayna Zevallos (Tolland). Tolland had aggressive baserunning and a nice outfield catch by Shaina Carter. Coventry scored the game's only run on a sacrifice bunt by Lindsay Williams that scored Eileen Zadrozny.
Coventry 10, Tolland 5. In their second game, Coventry downed Tolland 10-5. Solid pitching by Coventry's Stephanie Morin and Eileen Zadrozny and Tolland's Alayna Zevallos made for a great softball game. Aggressive baserunning and some fine defensive plays by Kierra Laramie and Shaina Carter, an outfield assist by Haley Durost and great catching by Alexis Lyonnais helped Tolland. Coventry had contributions from Jess Voros and Kara Sander behind the plate. Also aiding in the win were Taylor Armstrong and Hannah Vignone with some good atbats and alert baserunning.

Enfield 12, Manchester 6. (from 7/14) Enfield defeated Manchester by a score of 12-6. Enfield was led by the pitching of Lisa Lusardi and hard throwing Sam DelConte. DelConte also led the offense with three hits. Manchester was led by Reyna Quinteiro, Mackenzie Sisson and Sarah Robbins.
