- Wednesday, June 22nd
Enfield at Suffield - postponed by rain to Friday, July 8th.
- Wednesday, July 6th
West Hartford 11, Glastonbury 6. West Hartford started out strong with a 6-0 lead, then Glastonbury fought back to make it 6-5. In the 4th inning, West Hartford's running game came alive and scored five more runs to secure the win. West Hartford was led by Mackensie Griffith, who reached base safely two times, drove in two runs, and made a great catch in left field. Julia Haynes, Kaylee Stebbins and Gabby Gineo led the Glastonbury hitters and Amanda Heffernan contributed with a double.
Granby (4) at Windsor (3). Granby won its first game of the season behind terrific pitching by Devon Ide and solid infield and outfield defense by Jessie Storch and Alexis King. For Windsor, Renate Tomkiel pitched very well, recording three shutout innings, and Maddie Lee crushed a double to drive in two runs.
South Windsor 15, East Hartford 0.
Coventry 18, Somers 5.
- Friday, July 8th
Enfield 16, Suffield 11. (from 6/22) The Enfield Fireballs won a closely contested game by a score of 16-11 over a gritty Suffield team. Enfield was powered by Alayna Carratini (2 for 2 with a triple and homerun) and Tori Rugani (2 for 3 with a homerun). Kaitlyn Bourque gets the gold glove award for the night as she made several plays at second base, including a spectacular diving stop of a ground ball where she was able to get up and throw the runner out a first base. Casi Delorge picked up her first win of the season in the circle, allowing only four hits through five innings. Sarah Rossi and Jackie Cunningham played well for Suffield as they each collected a hit and scored twice.
- Monday, July 11th
Somers 15, Hebron 9. Somers got into the win column behind terrific pitching by Holly King and great defense by Natalie Villareal, Faith McNamee and Lauren Masamery. Somers offense was supplied by Kelsey Waskiel and Sarah Tevault along with a game-changing steal of home by Alex Gershowitz. Hebron received solid pitching from Caitlyn Lovejoy and Madison Manarky. Kristina Kasper had two hits and Jess Merry showed some strong baserunning.
Windsor 6, Glastonbury 3. Leadoff batter Sam Dehais singled twice and scored a run in Windsor's 6-3 win over Glastonbury. Sarah Gegetskas doubled and scored two runs, while pitcher Renate Tomkiel pitched a complete game, striking out nine batters. After a rough first inning, Kaylee Stebbins settled down and pitched four scoreless innings for Glastonbury. Gabby Gineo and Sara O'Connell each singled and scored.
West Hartford 12, Enfield 3. Visiting West Hartford downed Enfield 12-3 behind outstanding pitching by Sophie Apicelli and Kayla Midney.
East Hartford 10, Suffield 5. The Xplosion defeated Suffield 10-5 behind the pitching of Alicia Bannerman and Cyndi Adamcewicz.
South Windsor 12, Coventry 8.
- Wednesday, July 13th
Windsor 11, Enfield 4. Madison Lee went 2 for 3 with an RBI-double to lead a balanced Windsor offense. Madeira Alexander pitched four innings for the win, three of which were scoreless. Becky Romero also had a nice hit to knock in a run. Kelly Puchkoris and Renate Tomkiel each contributed by pitching scoreless innings.
West Hartford 17, East Hartford 9. East Hartford fell to their cross-river rivals 17-9 as Livi Gagliotti, Charlotte Leyland and Kelley Venora led a strong West Hartford offense.
Coventry 13, Suffield 7. Coventry came from behind a 5-4 score to win the game behind solid pitching from Caitlyn McDonagh and Emma Ingenholl. A throw to second base from catcher Megan McDonagh set up a pickle against a Suffield base runner. Solid performances by the entire Coventry team sealed the win.
South Windsor 15, Somers 7. Jadzea Tully led South Windsor's offense with a triple and three runs scored while Maria Hanchuk stroked two hits and struck out four in two innings of solid relief pitching. Alison Baranauskas provided stellar defense and Molly "Wheels" Carroll was a terror on the base paths for South. Sarah Tetrault provided the offensive spark for Somers while Alex Gershowitz and Natalia Villarreal made fine defensive plays.
- Saturday, July 16th
Granby 18, Hebron 1. Granby won behind a tremendous pitching effort by Devon Ide and an offensive attack led by Rachel Feldstein, who reached base all four times at bat with two hits, a walk and was hit by a pitch. She also stolen two bases and scored three runs. Hebron had several bright spots. Becky SantoChristo and Jocelyn Webb had good games at the plate and Emma Hagearty did a great job defensively at second base.
- Monday, July 18th
Somers 14, Suffield 10. Somers got a hard fought win behind terrific pitching by Danielle Urbon. The Somers offense was sparked by Holly King, Brittany Hailer and Alex Gershowitz, each with two hits, and Isabel Cesare, who had three hits. Suffield got a solid pitching performance from Sarah Rossi. Lyndsey Pulcifur supplied Suffield's offense and Grace Mangiameli showed her speed on the base paths.
Windsor 20, East Hartford 5. Sarah Gegetskas led Windsor's offensive charge by batting 3 for 3 and scoring three runs. Renate Tomkiel legged out two singles and pitched four shutout innings, giving up just one hit. Danielle Paradis singled and drove in a run for East Hartford in a 5-run 5th inning.
South Windsor 13, Hebron 9. Rebecca Hockenberry picked up the win for South Windsor (4-0) as Kerry Sullivan, Taylor Markstein & Corey Callahan had two hits each. For Hebron, Madison Manarky pitched well. Claire Russo paced the offense and Jess Merry played well in the field.
Glastonbury 16, Granby 6. Annie Culliton pitched a complete game , with an outstanding performance behind the plate by Julia Haynes. Kaylee Stebbins, Alina Dixon and Jessie Rodden led the hitters for the Heat. Sydney Longley pitched well for Granby and scored two runs. Alexis King was a standout at catcher, had two hits and scored a run, and Emily Cronin reached base three times.
West Hartford at Coventry - postponed by rain to Saturday, July 30th.
- Wednesday, July 20th
Granby 18, Enfield 12 (6 innings). Granby downed Enfield behind solid pitching by Devon Ide. The core defense of Elizabeth LeBlanc, Emily Cronin, Nicole Gosselin and Sydney Longley helped seal the victory.
Coventry 4, Windsor 3. Strong pitching from Emma Ingenholl and Caitlyn McDonagh once again helped Coventry grab the win. Nikki Papadapolous made a huge catch in left field in the first inning. Catchers Tessa Sheades and Megan McDonagh also had strong performances, keeping runners from stealing home.
South Windsor 19, Suffield 4 (6 innings). South Windsor was led by Kerry Sullivan Riley McMahon, Brianna LaChappell and Rebecca Hockenberry with two hits each. Three pitchers combined for the win. The young but talented Suffield squad was led by Jackie Cunningham and Cara Smith offensively and Casey Kaplan & Kaylee Velasquez on defense.
West Hartford 10, Somers 5. West Hartford started out strong with a 6-1 lead after two innings, yet Somers clawed their way back in the 4th inning, bringing the score to 6-5. Then in the 5th, West Hartford's bats once again came alive, scoring four runs to close the scoring at 10-5. Somers stars included Isabel Cesare, who pitched a complete game, and Jessica Novak, who led the attack on offense. Faith McNamee had a stellar game with the glove for Somers. Stars for West Hartford included Sarah Hoisl and Kelley Venora, each with two hits and two runs driven in. Crysta Wolski had a great game in the circle for West Hartford, pitching four innings and yielding only one run.
Glastonbury 5, Hebron 2. Kaylee Stebbins pitched a complete game one-hitter, striking out eight against a tough Hebron lineup. Hannah Koshmerl, Jessie Rodden, Julia Scalise and Katie Muldoon were all perfect at the plate in this defensive battle.

- Wednesday, July 27th
Windsor 5, South Windsor 1. Madeira Alexander belted two hits and drove in two runs, and Renate Tomkiel pitched a complete game, allowing only two hits, to lead Windsor over South Windsor 5-1. Becky Romero made two outstanding defensive plays for the winners. Madison Donahue pitched well for South Windsor, striking out five in two innings. Jadzela Tully knocked in South's only run with a triple following Ronnie Callahan's single.
West Hartford 10, Hebron 9. This was a very exciting game, both teams going back and forth with three lead changes. Going into the bottom of the 6th inning, the score was tied 9-9 when home team West Hartford's Sarah Hoisl led off by drilling a single to centerfield, stole second base and advanced to third on a passed ball. One out later, Crysta Wolski smashed the ball over the right fielder's head to drive in the winning run. West Hartford's other star was pitcher Kayla Midney, who entered in the 6th inning and retired Hebron 1-2-3. The stars for Hebron included Caitlin Lovejoy, who pitched a gutsy complete game, Kristina Kasper, who was a wall behind the plate, and Becky SantoChristo, who reached base safely two times and had two RBIs with a bases-loaded hit to left field.
Granby 12, Somers 1. In a well played game by both teams, Granby won with great pitching and hitting by Devon Ide and Rachel Wojciak, along with strong at-bats and aggressive baserunning by the rest of the team. Somers played a solid game with terrific pitching by Danielle Urbon and strong defense with Natalie Villareal in the field and Samantha Bastarache behind the plating catching.
Glastonbury 13, Enfield 12. Annie Culliton, Sara O'Connell and Kaylee Stebbins all pitched well in this come from behind win in the last inning. Sara O'Connell and Kaelin Reilly led the way with their bats and Julia Karnes scored the winning run in the bottom of the 6th inning of the back and forth game.
East Hartford 10, Coventry 8.
- Thursday, July 28th
West Hartford 8, Windsor 6. (from 7/25) The whole night had great pitching, hitting, defense and running. Stars for West Hartford included Crysta Wolski, who pitched a terrific complete game, Sarah Hamilton, who reached base safely three times and hit a triple, and Livi Gaglioti, who also had a triple and drove in the game winning run. For Windsor, Renate Tomkiel came in as a reliever in the first inning and pitched the rest of the game, allowing only four runs. Jordan Tyburski had a big hit, driving in two runs, and Maddie Lee played awesome at catcher, gunning down two baserunners and blocking everything behind the plate.
- Saturday, July 30th
West Hartford 14, Coventry 9. (from 7/18) This game was very close with a few lead changes throughout the first four innings, then West Hartford edged it out in the end. Stars for Coventry included Maggie Ziko and Kelsie Lahouse for their spectacular defensive plays and Julia Salinsky for her huge hit with the bases loaded. West Hartford heroes included Charlotte Leyland, who pounded out a single, double and triple, and Kayla Midney, who reached base safety twice and scored two runs.
Hebron 19, Suffield 5. (from 7/25) Hebron (HAMR) secured their first win of the season with a 19-5 win against Suffield. Suffield was led by two young and very talented pitchers, Amanda Martin-Ryan and Sarah Rossi, as well as the strong hitting of Lyndsey Pulcifur. HAMR received an outstanding complete game pitching performance from Caitlyn Lovejoy as well as timely hitting by Claire Russo, Aliza Orler and Emma Hagearty.
- Monday, August 1st
Granby 10, Suffield 5. Granby won behind a tremandous pitching effort from Sydney Longley, combined with the solid catching efforts of Caitlin Kopf, Ariel Hanelius and Hanna Crose. The Granby offense did a great job top to bottom with timely hits with runners in scoring position. Suffield got great efforts from their young pitcher Sarah Rossi and defensively from Elizabeth Grosso at third base, Casey Kaplan at second base and Kaylee Velasquez at first base.
East Hartford at Glastonbury - postponed to Sunday, August 7th.
South Windsor at West Hartford - postponed by rain to Thursday, August 11th.
Coventry at Enfield - postponed by rain to Saturday, August 6th.
- Tuesday, August 2nd
South Windsor 7, Granby 2. (from 7/25) In a very well pitched game, Rebecca Hockenberry outdueled Rachel Wojciak as each pitched six innings. Hockenberry struck out 16 and gave up two hits for South, while Wojciak struck out 11 and gave up six hits for Granby. Jessica Storch and Elizabeth LeBlanc had singles for Granby. Madison Donahue homered and Ronnie Callahan had two hits for South.
Windsor 9, Hebron 1.
- Wednesday, August 3rd
West Hartford 20, Suffield 1. Suffield worked very hard all night but it was just one of those games where nothing went wrong for West Hartford - pitching, complete team hitting and no errors. Stars for West Hartford included Natalie Joseph, who reached base safely three times and scored all three times, and Demaris Savonis, who played awesome on defense and reached base safely twice, scoring both times. Stars for Suffield included third baseman Elizabeth Grosso, who had several defensive putouts, and both Felicia Dugay and Jackie Cunningham for their defensive prowess platooning at catcher.
Glastonbury 16, Coventry 10. The Glastonbury offense came alive with Caitlyn Abrahamson, Hannah Koshmerl, Jessie Rodden and Julia Karnes having three hits apiece. Solid baserunning by both teams kept this game close right to the end.
Granby 8, East Hartford 0.
Windsor 17, Somers 1.
- Thursday, August 4th
Hebron 14, Enfield 13. Hebron (HAMR) and Enfield played an exciting game with HAMR winning 14-13. Enfield was led by the excellant defensive play of Taylor Fritz and Sydni Damato. HAMR received a gutty, complete game pitching performance from Madison Manarky and skilled offensive and defensive contributions from Aliza Orler, who scored the winning run with a great slide at home.

East Hartford 17, Enfield 12. (from 7/25)
- Saturday, August 6th
Glastonbury 23, Somers 9. (from 7/26) Glastonbury had solid pitching by Julia Karnes and Annie Culliton and great help behind the plate by Hannah Koshmerl and Julia Haynes. Glastonbury's bats were hot, including four hits by Caitlyn Abrahamson and three each from Julia Haynes and Kaelin Reilly. Holly King pitched well for Somers, Kelsey Waskiel had a good game defensively at first base and Becca Collins had a nice hit.
Coventry 17, Enfield 15. (from 8/1) It was a hard fought battle but Coventry managed to pull ahead in the last inning to secure the win against Enfield. There were constant lead changes and intense defensive plays by both teams. Coventry took an early lead, but Enfield managed to battle back and had the lead going into the 6th inning. Coventry pulled ahead and then was able to retire the final three Enfield batters.

Glastonbury 12, East Hartford 7. (from 8/1)
- Monday, August 8th
Enfield 7, Somers 5. The U-12 Enfield Fireballs came back from a 4-0 deficit to pull out a 7-5 victory over a gritty Somers team. Somers scored two runs in both the first and second innings to take an early lead behind the hitting of Jessica Novak and Isabel Cesare. Enfield climbed back into the game with three runs in the third led by a hard double by Alayna Carattini. Enfield would go on to add a run in the 4th, one in the 5th and two in the 6th innings. Fallon Sweeney, Jessica Maier and Kiley Vermette led the attack with timely hitting. Casi Delorge went the distance in the circle for Enfield, scattering five hits through six innings and striking out six batters.
East Hartford 10, Hebron 9.
Granby 9, Coventry 1.
Glastonbury at South Windsor - postponed by rain to Tuesday, August 9th at Glastonbury.
Windsor at Suffield - postponed due to rain.

- Wednesday, August 10th
Coventry 7, Hebron 6. Coventry squeeked out the win by coming from behind in the 4th inning to win at home. Great all around effort by both Hebron and Coventry teams.
West Hartford 12, Granby 5. West Hartford started fast, scoring three runs in the first inning, and had spectacular pitching and defense throughout the game to defeat visiting Granby by a score of 12-5. Granby got on the board in the 4th inning, scoring two runs, but the feisty West Hartford team answered with five in the home half of the inning to widen a lead they would not relinguish. Stars for Granby from the offensive side included Caitlin Kopf, who reached base safely twice, and Alexis King, who blasted a single up the middle. Granby pitcher Rachel Wojciak came in for long relief and worked five solid innings. For West Hartford, Kayla Midney had two hits and Charlotte Leyland blasted a triple with the bases loaded. West Hartford pitchers Crysta Wolski and Thalia Ortiz combined for twelve strikeouts.
Enfield 8, South Windsor 7. Enfield pulled out a tightly contested game against South Windsor by a final score of 8 to 7. Enfield plated three runs in the bottom of the first inning, led by Melissa Steiger's triple. Behind the bats of Madison Donahue and Rebecca Hockenberry, South Windsor responded with two runs in the second inning, two in the third and another three in the fourth to take a 7-3 lead. Enfield responded with a five-run 5th inning on hits by Fallon Sweeney and Lexi Taupier. Casi Delorge pitched a complete game for the Fireballs and picked up her third win of the season. Jessie Maier was a machine behind the plate as she threw out or picked off three South Windsor runners.
Glastonbury 9, Suffield 1.
East Hartford 9, Somers 3.
- Thursday, August 11th
West Hartford 8, South Windsor 4. (from 8/1) Two evenly matched teams went head to head in their final regular season game and the girls did not disappoint. After one inning of play, the score was tied 2-2. After four innings of play, the score was 4-4, both teams making great plays throughout the game and all the pitchers were pitching well. In the bottom of the 5th inning, West Hartford struck first, scoring one, then with two outs, Charlotte Leyland launched a bases-loaded triple, making the final score 8 to 4. Stars for South Windsor included pitcher Maria Hanchuk, Grace Whitlock, who made a great shoestring catch in the outfield, and Kerry Sullivan, who hit the ball hard and made several great plays on defense. Other West Hartford heroes included Sarah Hoisl and Livi Gaglioti, who both reached base safely twice and made several great defensive plays.
