Manchester Blue 6, Marlborough 6 (tie). Ann Rosenstreich pitch five innings, striking out seven, as Manchester Blue tied Marlborough in a game called because of darkness. Annie Pagano and Jen Smith led Blue's defense. Molly Rathbun pitched seven strong innings with eight strikeouts for Marlborough. Jess Hayden played well on defense at first and third base.
Manchester Red Devils 2, South Windsor 0. The Red Devils opened with a win at home behind the combined 2-hit, 7-strikeout pitching of Ashley Bilodeau and Melinda Carlson. Ariel Diaz, Jackie LeRoy, Amy Pearl and Hannah Howroyd were the defensive leaders. Diaz had a double and scored a key insurance run while LeRoy scored Manchester's first run. Caitlin Peruccio and MaryKate Panciera had the other two hits. Kim Colla and Jackie O'Brien teamed to pitch a 3-hitter for South, striking out eight batters. O'Brien also had a single.
Ellington 18, East Hartford 0. Mallory Householder (right) opened the season by pitching a no-hitter, striking out nine. Emily Savino tripled and singled. Tiffany DiCioccio and Elizabeth Maxwell had two hits apiece. Jamie Blanchard, Margaret Deptula, Leanne Golden, Shannon Close and Melanie Timura each had singles. The entire team played very well on defense. Kim Markey, Brittney Ibscher and Molly Kennedy played well in the field for East Hartford.

Ellington 19, West Hartford 3. Ellington won on the road as Mallory Householder struck out 10 batters in four innings pitched. Emily Savino added 5Ks in the final two innings. Amanda Blanchard had four hits and Tiffany DiCioccio three. Amy Hartman tripled and Melanie Timura and Kelly McPartland each had a pair of singles. Elizabeth Maxwell, Lauren Ramsdell, Nicole Fillion and Emily Savino all hit safely. Rebecca Demers pitched well in the loss, striking out nine, and Caroline Stevens had an RBI-single. Sheray Felice, Alicia Lambert, Katheryn Devine and Nicole Stankoski each had a hit.
Manchester Blue 20, East Windsor 3. Katie Viara struck out nine in four innings as Manchester Blue downed visiting East Windsor 20-3. She also helped her cause at the plate, going 4 for 5. Melanie Berman and Nicole Sapienza contributed two hits each. Lindsey Nelson pitched well for East Windsor. Heather St.Amour led the defense and Becky Brown had a good game at the plate.
Vernon 2, South Windsor 1. Vernon's Hannah Koch (right) hooked up in a pitcher's duel with South's Jordan Barile and Kim Colla. Koch allowed only one hit and walked none while Barile and Colla combined for a 2-hitter. For Vernon, Mary Falkowski and Brianna Weaver had the hits and were helped by Cassie Saxer and Kelly Cocco. Lauren Greider had South Windsor's hit and scored their run.
Somers 13, East Hartford 2. Kacey Oswell (left) led Somers to the victory with six innings of one-hit pitching. She also had a double and a single at the plate. Mindy Oswell had a key hit and pitched a perfect 7th inning. Somers had a 9-run, 6-hit seventh inning highlighted by a bases-loaded double by Melissa Vamvilis. Delaney Altieri had two hits and Michelle Milliken, Lauren Mashiak and Katie Trask each had one. Amy Quattropani pitched well for East Hartford. Abby Rodriguez played great defense and Heather Trinks also played well.
Suffield 16, Manchester Red Devils 1 (5 innings). Taylor Bartini and Jen Silva powered the offense with multi-hit games and Elizabeth Breen pitched four strong innings to lead Suffield to their first win of the season. Manchester's Courtney Novak pitched well in relief, striking out five. Jackie LeRoy and Andrea Quintiliani paced the Red Devils' offense.
Marlborough 7, Enfield 6 (8 innings). Molly Rathbun pitched the complete game for Marlborough, recording 15 strikeouts. She and Rosie Boudreau came up with key hits in the win. Bree Evans worked a tough 2-out walk in the bottom of the 8th inning, stole second and third, and scored the deciding run. Enfield's Kim Collins also went the distance, fanning 18 batters. Sue Scanlon, Nicole Serafin and Kristin Flaherty all had hits.
Ellington 12, Somers 6. Ellington improved to 3-0 at Somers, breaking open a close game with an 8-run fifth inning. Shannon Close had the hot bat with three singles. Emily Savino pitched very well in relief of starter Mallory Householder. Leanne Golden doubled and Amy Hartman (right) had two hits. Amanda Blanchard made two outstanding plays in centerfield, one a double play with second baseman Courtney Horvath. Bridget Millane, Margaret Deptula, Melanie Timura and Amy Hartman each made important plays on defense. Somers catcher Melissa Vamvilis had a double and played great defense behind the plate. Kasey Oswell pitched well and also had a double. Jaclyn Shepard also did well at the plate with a pair of singles.
Manchester Blue 9, South Windsor 4. Katie Viara struck out 11 in 4 innings as Manchester Blue defeated South Windsor. She also had a pair of hits, as did teammates Emma Scanlon and Ann Rosenstreich (left). Lauren Orlowski and Maura Bergan played well defensively. Kim Colla pitched well for South in the loss. Jordan Barile hit a double and Stephanie Poppadogiannis scored two of South's runs.
Enfield 13, Suffield 12. Enfield got its first win as pitcher Kim Collins helped herself with a 2-run double and a grandslam homerun. Jess Crank and Crystal Haynes played well on defense and Nicole Serafin had a good game at the plate. Suffield was led by Lisa Beltramello's two hits. Katelyn Pellin and Mallory Nai played well in the field.
Marlborough 15, West Hartford 0 (4 1/2 innings). Molly Rathbun shut out visiting West Hartford, striking out five. Brianna Yardis caught another fine game behind the plate and Ashley Lovett, Jamie Roly and Rosie Boudreau each made good defensive plays. Faith Langhans, Shelley O'Keefe, Katie Kalisz, Chrissy Forand, Jamie Roly, Brianna Yardis, Rosie Boudreau and Molly Rathbun all collected hits for the winners.
Vernon 11, East Windsor 7. Danielle Baker pitched visiting Vernon past East Windsor 11-7. Mary Falkowski had two hits and scored two runs. Hannah Koch led the defense at shortstop. Meagan Nelson pitched well in the loss for East, striking out 12 batters. Kristie Lanning had a pair of hits and Karissa Parker had a double.

Enfield 10, Vernon 1. Enfield won on the road, defeating Vernon by a score of 10-1. Susan Scanlon had 3 hits in 4 atbats and Dora Butler had a triple and single. Catcher Chelsea Aiken had a good game defensively and also did well at the plate. Ashley Bloxam, Amber Hoyt and Kendra Skoly played well in the field for Vernon.
South Windsor 17, East Windsor 4. South went East and came home with a 17-4 win, led by Kristin Wolejko's 4 hits. Jenn Zocco scored three runs and Jacquie O'Brien pitched well to earn the win. East Windsor had solid efforts turned in by Jillian Cote, Elyse Hart and Lindsey Nelson.
Somers 11, Manchester Blue 9. Somers went to Manchester and won a close battle with key hits from Melissa Vamvilis (2 hits), Mindy Oswell (2 hits) and Jacyn Shepard. Mindy Oswell earned the win, pitching a complete game. Monica Palmer and Michelle Milliken also had two hits apiece. Sydney Altieri and Kacey Oswell played good defense and scored two runs each. Lauren Orlowski led Manchester with three hits and two runs scored. Maura Bergan had a double and single and Marisa Conyers had a pair of singles.
West Hartford 12, Manchester Red Devils 7. West Hartford notched their first win with a comeback victory over the Manchester Red Devils. Down 3-0 in the first and 6-3 after 4 1/2 innings, West Hartford stormed back with 9 runs in their half of the 5th inning. They were led by the complete game pitching of Becca Demers and a solid defense that committed only two errors. Demers walked three batters, only one after the first inning. Vanessa Morales and Sarah Hamilton (left) each had two hits to lead the offense. Hamilton, Carly Kirkby and Danielle Saal each scored two runs. Demers, Kristine LeBlanc and Amanda Milligan also had key hits in the rally. Manchester's hitters were led by Shannon Walsh, who had a double, single and two runs scored. Courtney Novak pitched well and also contributed a pair of hits. Stefanie Grande and Yomarie Rodriguez played solid defense.
Ellington 11, Marlborough 10. Ellington needed four runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to defeat a tough Marlborough team 11-10. Mallory Householder struck out ten in the first four innings and Emily Savino picked up the win in relief, fanning three in the final three innings. Tiffany DiCioccio paced the hitters with a pair of singles. Leanne Golden, Elizabeth Maxwell and Savino all hit safely. Marlborough's Molly Rathbun pitched very well in the loss, recording 13 strikeouts. Brianna Yardis had another outstanding defensive game behind the plate and Ana Kopec made several fine defensive plays at first base.

Enfield 8, Manchester Red Devils 7 (8 innings).(from 7/1) Jess Crank's 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh forced extra innings and Megan Kradas' RBI-single in the bottom of the eighth gave Enfield the come-from-behind win over the Red Devils. Kristin Flaherty pitched well in her first game with Kim Collins relieving and getting the win. Ashley Bilodeau had a 2-run single for Manchester. Kat Howroyd made a rally-stopping catch in centerfield and Amy Pearl made several nice plays at shortstop.
Manchester Blue 22, East Hartford 3. Homestanding Manchester Blue defeated East Hartford behind the combined pitching of Annie Rosenstreich and Melanie Berman. Marisa Conyers, Annie Pagano and Jen Smith hit well and played well defensively. Jenna Allisin, Heather Trinks and Abby Rodriguez all played well for East Hartford.
South Windsor 25, Somers 6. South Windsor defeated Somers with an offensive barrage led by Jacquie O'Brien and Nicole Nixon, who had four hits each. Maeve Neiswanger, Lauren Greider and Kristin Wolejko added three hits apiece. Melissa Vamvilis had a good game behind the plate for Somers. Jaclyn Shepard hit a double. Sydney Altieri, Jill Avery and Monica Palmer all did well at the plate.
East Windsor 16, West Hartford 14. (from 6/19)East Windsor got into the win column with a 16-14 victory over visiting West Hartford. Ashley McHugh led the winners with three hits. Meagan Nelson, Kristie Lanning, Jillian Cote and Kathy Topazio had two hits each. Katie Shefrin led the defense. West Hartford's Allison Czapla was perfect for the night with two hits and a walk with two runs scored. Kristine LeBlanc, Amanda Milligan and Mary Provencher also scored a pair of runs each. Heather Gianfriddo and Becca Demers had good games defensively.
Suffield 9, Marlborough 8 (10 innings). Suffield rallied from an 8-0 deficit to defeat Marlborough in 10 innings. Mallorie Nai slid under the tag and scored the winning run on Kalleigh Peterson's two-out infield hit. Molly Rathbun went the distance for Marlborough, striking out eleven. Brianna Yardis did well at the plate. Amy Lemieux made a fine catch in centerfield and then doubled the runner off second base for a double play.

Katie Viara (left) pitched a complete game with 14 strikeouts. Sarah Kane and Katelyn Johnson showed exceptional defensive play for Manchester. Ellington's Amy Hartman and Shannon Close teamed on several good infield defensive plays while Amanda Blanchard had a good game in centerfield. Mallory Householder pitched well but took the loss, striking out ten.
South Windsor 5, Enfield 3. Jacquie O'Brien pitched U-14's second no-hitter of the summer at Enfield. She also helped her cause with three hits at the plate. Catcher Kim Masi and Lauren Greider both made key plays in the win. Enfield pitcher Kim Collins scattered 7 hits. Megan Kradas and Chelsea Aiken both had good games in the field.
East Windsor 16, Marlborough 4. Meagan Nelson pitched East over Marlborough, striking out fifteen. Heather Paradis and Ashley McHugh both tripled and Heather St.Amour added two hits. Kathy Topazio had a good defensive game at first base. Rosie Boudreau homered for Marlborough. Jamie Roly and Brianna Yardis (unassisted double play) were defensive standouts.
Suffield 23, West Hartford 7. Suffield defeated West Hartford 23-7 behind a 4-hit game from winning pitcher Sam Cieri (right) and multi-hit games from Jennifer Thresher and Brynn Scozzari. Caitlin Brault led the defense with 6 assists at second base. West Hartford's hitters were led by Kristen Vibberts (2 hits and a run scored) and Nickie Stankoski (2 runs scored). Allison Czapla, Sheray Felice, Heather Gianfriddo and Alicia Lambert had good games on defense. Pitcher Lambert and catcher Stankoski both played very well, performing at new positions due to a reduced gametime roster.

Crystal Haynes had two hits and Chelsea Aiken doubled. Shortstop Sue Scanlon caught a line drive to end the game. Amanda Milligan had West's only hit. Katheryn Devine reached base twice and scored the run. Vanessa Morales, Kristen Vibberts, Sheray Felice and Heather Gianfriddo played well in the field.

Manchester Red Devils 9, Marlborough 6. The Red Devils snapped a three-game losing streak by beating Marlborough 9-6. Melinda Carlson, Courtney Novak and Ashley Bilodeau combined for a two-hitter. Carlson struck out six in three innings and Bilodeau fanned 8 in three innings. Manchester was led offensively by Caitlin Peruccio with a pair of doubles, driving in two while scoring three runs. She also threw out two runners attempting to steal. Bilodeau reached base three times, driving in two with a triple and a double and also scoring a key late-inning run. Hannah Howroyd chipped in with two hits while starting a key rally. Yomarie Rodriguez also reached base twice. Jackie Leroy played solid defense. Marlborough was led by the good pitching of Molly Rathbun, who also had a hit and reached base twice. Rosie Boudreau was outstanding at shortstop, twice throwing out Manchester runners at the plate. Faith Langhans scored a run and played well defensively.
Suffield 21, Ellington 5. Suffield stopped visiting Ellington 21-5 in 4 1/2 innings. Elizabeth Breen went the distance with another solid pitching performance. Sam Bieleski and Amylia O'Neill both played well for Suffield. Ellington's Courtney Horvath and Leanne Golden each had two hits. Amy Hartman hit a solo homerun and Shannon Close hit a double. Tiffany DiCioccio hit a triple and played strong defensively at third base.

(from 7/22) In a roller coaster game under the lights, Yomarie Rodriguez's RBI groundout proved to be the difference as the Red Devils used a team effort to hang on and defeat Manchester Blue 12-11. Ashley Bilodeau had two hits, including a game-tieing 3-run triple. Andrea Chudzik also had two hits, including a key two-run single. Jackie LeRoy chipped in with two hits. Andrea Quintiliani, Amy Pearl and MaryKate Panciera scored two runs each. Caitlin Peruccio and Kathryn Howroyd played well on defense. Melinda Carlson started and re-entered in relief to get the win, striking out the final batter with the bases loaded. Manchester Blue was paced by pitcher Katie Viara's 10 strikeouts. Offensively, Rachel Kane had three hits and scored two runs and Nicole Sapienza had three hits and three RBI. Annie Pagano reached base three times and scored twice. Shannon Walsh, Andrea Chudzik and Yomarie Rodriguez all had three hits while MaryKate Panciera and Amy Pearl had two apiece. Kathryn Howroyd, Ashley Bilodeau and Trixi Umali pitched well. Walsh and Megan Sullivan led the winners on defense. East Hartford was paced by the hitting of Amy Quattropani. Kristina Liner and Heather Trinks pitched well in the loss.

Katelyn Pellin, Brynn Scozzari and Kalleigh Peterson played solid defense for Suffield.

Amy Hartman belted a 2-run triple and Liz Maxwell drove in two runs and scored three. Meagan Nelson took the loss for East and also scored the lone run. Kathy Topazio and Heather Paradis had good games defensively.
Somers 14, West Hartford 12. Kara McGuane pitched the win as Somers downed West Hartford 14-12. Michelle Milliken homered and Mandy Stanton played well on defense. Alicia Courtois had a good game behind the plate. Amanda Milligan, Katheryn Devine, Alicia Lambert and Heather Gianfriddo had two hits each for West Hartford. Becca Demers pitched a complete game, allowing eight hits. Demers and Vanessa Morales played well defensively.

Marlborough 6, South Windsor 5. Marlborough won on the road in a seesaw battle against South Windsor. Molly Rathbun got the win, fanning 11 batters. Rosie Boudreau went 4 for 4 at the plate, with key hits to keep the game close. Jess Hayden was also important offensively with great baserunning.
West Hartford 21, East Hartford 8. Becca Demers pitched a complete game 7-hitter, strinking out 12, to lead West Hartford. She also was perfect on the night offensively with a triple, two doubles, a walk and three runs scored. Vanessa Morales had three doubles and three runs scored. Allison Czapla had three singles and three runs scored. Kristen Vibberts had a hit and scored three runs and Katheryn Devine had two hits. East Hartford was led offensively by Brittany Ibscher with two hits and three runs scored and Abby Rodriguez with a hit, a walk and a run scored. On defense, Brittany Brashier had a good game in centerfield. Lisa Donato and Amy Quattropani both did well behind the plate. Donato also turned in a good performance pitching in relief.
Suffield 16, East Windsor 9. Jen Silva was very solid behind the plate and scored four runs to lead Suffield to victory over East Windsor. Katelyn Pellin was outstanding at shortstop and Sam Bieleski played very strong in the outfield. East Windsor's offense was led by Lindsey Nelson and Ashley McHugh with two doubles each. Courtney Martin played well defensively.

Pitching a complete game with 9 strikeouts, Mindy Oswell helped herself with a double, single and 3 runs scored. Melissa Vamvilis led the offensive effort with 3 hits and 3 runs scored. Also with hits for Somers were Lauren Mashiak and Katie Trask. Alicia Courtois was strong defensively behind the plate. Playing well on defense for Marlborough were Chelsea Leser, Ana Kopec at 1st base and Brianna Yardis behind the plate.

Vernon 19, West Hartford 12. (from 7/22) Winning pitcher Danielle Baker and Desirae Hewitt had three hits each to propel Vernon past West Hartford. Mary Falkowski, Hannah Koch, Ashley Bloxam, Brianna Weaver and Kelly Cocco all had two hits in the win. West Hartford was led offensively by Vanessa Morales (single,double,walk,3 runs scored), Nikki Stankoski (2 hits,2 walks,3 runs scored) and Allison Czapla (single,double,walk,2 runs scored). Morales also led the way defensively with a number of fine plays at shortstop.
Vernon 13, Manchester Red Devils 7. (7:00PM at New State Road)(from 7/24) Vernon beat the Devils 13-7 as Hannah Koch got the win and helped her cause with three hits. Sarah Browning had three hits and three RBIs. Danielle Baker and Mary Falkowski had two hits and drove in two runs apiece. Erin Skoly also contributed two RBIs. Shannon Walsh, Andrea Chudzik and Amy Pearl each had two hits for Manchester. Courtney Novak drilled a 2-run double. Defensively, Caitlin Peruccio and Ashley Bilodeau played well.
Enfield 15, East Windsor 0 (5 innings). (7:00PM)(ADH)(from 7/22) Enfield made it six in a row behind the hitting of Megan Kradas (single,triple), Nicole Delano (2 singles) and Shaylan Chamberland (single). Kim Collins reached base 4 times, scoring twice. East Windsor got hits from Heather Paradis, Karissa Parker and Kristie Lanning. Jillian Cote had a great game as a first-time catcher.
Manchester Red Devils 22, East Windsor 9. (from 7/18) The Red Devils got back to .500 with a 22-9 decision over East Windsor. Yomarie Rodriguez banged out three hits, including 2 doubles. Megan Sullivan had a pair of hits and scored two runs. Ariel Diaz, MaryKate Panciera and Shannon Walsh each scored twice. Courtney Novak got the win in addition to scoring twice. Kat Howroyd was effective in relief and chipped in with a pair of hits. Stefanie Grande had a solid all around game. East Windsor was led on offense by Elyse Hart with three hits, who also caught a solid game. Chelsee Parker reached base twice and scored a run. Karissa Parker also reached base twice, including a booming double, and scored for East Windsor.
Manchester Blue 5, Manchester Red Devils 2. Blue topped the Devis 5-2 behind the 13K performance of Katie Viara. Jenny Bunce led the offense with two hits and Annie Pagano contributed with a strong defensive game. Melinda Carlson and Ashley Bilodeau pitched well for the Red Devils. Bilodeau had two hits and Andrea Chudzik drove in a run.
Enfield 15, Somers 10. Enfield completes the regular season with a win behind the hitting of Megan Kradas (triple,single), Barbara Kaplan (2 singles), Sue Scanlon (triple,single) and Christina Sheehan (double,single). Jess Crank was excellant behind the plate. Mindy Oswell pitched a good game for Somers in the loss. Jaclyn Shepard and Michelle Milliken had good games at the plate and Melissa Vamvilis played well defensively.
West Hartford 18, Suffield 10. West Hartford picked up the win behind Kate Mainelli (2 hits,5 runs) and Sarah Hamilton (1 hit,2 BB,4 runs). Becca Demers and Allison Czapla each chipped in with a hit and two walks. The defense was led by Hamilton, Mainelli and Czapla with Nikki Stankoski doing a fine job behind the plate. Demers pitched her 8th complete game of the season in eight starts, giving up 8 hits and striking out six. Suffield was led by Katelyn Pellin (2 hits,3 runs), Sam Cieri (2 hits,2 runs) and Jen Thresher (2 hits). Sam Bieleski and Pellin shared the catching duties and were both outstanding defensively.
South Windsor 7, Vernon 4. Kristin Wolejko, Jacquie O'Brien and Lauren Greider had two hits each as South Windsor defeated Vernon. Jordan Barile and Kim Colla both pitched well in the win. Hannah Koch took the loss for Vernon, scattering nine hits. Amber Hoyt, Danielle Baker, Megan Coughlin and Mary Falkowski were exceptional.
Marlborough 17, East Hartford 5. Molly Rathbun picked up the win, striking out 11, as Marlborough won at East Hartford behind a good all-around team effort. Allison Ryan (10Ks) pitched well for East Hartford. Brittany Brashier went 3 for 4 at the plate.
Ellington 14, East Windsor 3. Amy Hartman led Ellington past East Windsor with a home run and 2 singles. Liz Maxwell doubled and Kelly McPartland made a couple big plays at second base. Jocelyn Close and Nicole Fillion both scored runs for Ellington. Lindsey Nelson had a great game behind the plate for East Windsor. Kate Shefrin played well defensively at second base and Jillian Cote executed a double play. Kristie Lanning had the only East hit.
Manchester Red Devils 16, Somers 12. (from 7/8) The PAL Red Devils rallied to score six runs in the top of the 7th inning to defeat Somers 16-12. The big hit was a 2-out bases loaded triple by Ashley Bilodeau, who also had an RBI double. Kathryn Howroyd and Melinda Carlson each had a pair of RBI-hits. Maica Umali scored three times and played well defensively. Andrea Chudzik also reached base three times, scoring twice. Melinda Carlson picked up the win, striking out four in two innings. Caitlin Peruccio helped defensively by throwing out two Somers baserunners in the 6th inning. Andrea Quintiliani also made key defensive plays for the Red Devils. Mindy Oswell had a triple and two doubles while pitching well for Somers. Jaclyn Shepard had three singles and Elizabeth Mashiak had a key hit. Kacey Oswell chipped in with two doubles and kept Somers in the game with good pitching.
West Hartford 11, South Windsor 10. (from 7/18) West Hartford squeezed out an exciting win, manufacturing 11 runs on just five hits. The tieing run was thrown out trying to steal third by Nikki Stankoski in the 7th inning. The victors were led at the plate by Allison Czapla (2 hits, 2 walks, 2 runs), Vanessa Morales (triple, single, 2 runs) and Sarah Hamilton (1 hit, 1 walk, 1 run). Czapla (2B) and Stankoski (C) led the way defensively. Becca Demers pitched another complete game, scattering 13 hits and yielding only three walks. South Windsor's offensive stars were Kim Colla (2 home runs, single, 2 runs), Jenn Zocco (3 singles, 2 runs), and Erin Sullivan (2 singles, 2 runs). Jacquie O'Brien pitched a superb game in relief for South, striking out eight batters. Of note, the game was superbly umpired by the substitute crew of Mark Lassman (U-14 director) and Fernando Morales (Vanessa's dad).
Vernon 13, Ellington 10. (from 7/1) Vernon downed visiting Ellington 13-10 as Hannah Koch picked up the win in relief of Dana Carpenter and Danielle Baker. Standouts for Vernon were Sarah Browning, Kathleen Babcock and Amber Hoyt. For Ellington, Amy Hartman had three hits and played great at shortstop and Amanda Savino played very well behind the plate. Offensively, Amanda Blanchard had a triple and Kelly McPartland had two hits.
Manchester Blue 16, West Hartford 6. (from 7/24) Manchester Blue bested West Hartford 16-6 in the regular season finale. Marisa Conyers paced the winners with three hits. Melanie Berman had a pair of hits and Lauren Orlowksi doubled. West Hartford's offense featured Allison Czapla (double, single, 2 runs), Alicia Lambert (2 singles, run), Carly Kirkby (2 singles) and Becca Demers (single, walk, run).
