Tuesday, June 21st
West Hartford 10, Granby 8. West Hartford opened their season with a 10-8 win at Granby High School. Lizzy Lagoy was the winning pitcher and Sabrina Carreira hit a two-run single to lead the West Hartford hitters. Jaimee Kidd led Granby with three hits and three runs scored, and Cali Holt drove in a pair of runs.
Thursday, June 23rd
West Hartford at Windsor II - rescheduled to Monday, July 18th at West Hartford.
Glastonbury at Hebron - rescheduled to Thursday, July 14th at Glastonbury.
Friday, June 24th
Ellington at Glastonbury - rescheduled to Monday, June 27th.

Tuesday, June 28th
Windsor II 7, Granby 3. Lucia Barresi pitched a complete game to earn the win. Kate Schofield and Alize Aguilar both contributed two hits to the Windsor offense. Granby was led by Sam Gilbert and Amanda Jacobs, with Amanda ripping a double to the fence.
South Windsor 11, Glastonbury 1. Lina Nguyen struck out eight over five innings for the win. The South Windsor offense was paced by Rebecca Schroder, who reached base three time and scored two runs. Anne Hay and Jenn Samsel also scored two runs each. Alana Ferrante pitched in with two hits. Leyna DiMarco had a double for Glastonbury.
Enfield 9, Hebron 3.
Thursday, June 30th
Canton 12, Windsor II 3. Canton was led by the strong pitching of Jill Petraitis, who also had a long double and two runs scored. Danielle Chouinard and Olivia Sullivan each had two hits and two runs scored, and Lisa Crivelli made several nice defensive plays at second base. Windsor II was led by Allie Cigal and Kate Schofield , who both made some fine defensive plays.
Ellington 10, Hebron 7.
Enfield 16, Glastonbury 6.
Tuesday, July 5th
Windsor I 16, Glastonbury 3. Windsor I won on the road, defeating Glastonbury 16-3. Windsor I was led offensively by Leah Cagney-Vella and Kayla Sanborn with two hits each. Macy Fenlason and Emily Parker both pitched well for the winners. Glastonbury's Taylor MacDowell struck out six batters in the first three innings and gave a great effort. Melissa Howson and Leyna DiMarco were offensive standouts for Glastonbury.
Granby 10, Simsbury 8. Granby won its first game of the season behind good pitching and a hitting attack led by Molly Hammack with three hits. Defensively, Megan Young made two nice catches, one in left field and another at second base. For Simsbury, Lauren Catalano pitched well, recording seven strikeouts, and Jenna Gregoire smacked a triple to centerfield.
Canton 14, West Hartford 13. Canton and West Hartford played an exciting game with several lead changes and some excellant defensive plays on both sides. West Hartford was led by the excellant pitching of Lizzy Lagoy, some good defensive plays by Alyssa Murray, and strong hitting by Rory Morgan, who had three hits, including a triple, and two runs scored. Canton was led by Olivia Sullivan's two triples, single and 4 RBIs. They also had key hits from Jeccica Cole, Jill Petraitis, Emily Chouinard and Emma Plourd. Lisa Crivelli pitched four very strong innings in relief and Rachel Falzone scored the winning run in the bottom of the 6th inning with a two-out hit and two stolen bases.
South Windsor 10, Hebron 0. Peyton Silverman pitched a shutout for South Windsor, striking out twelve over six innings of work. Lina Nguyen went 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored. Haley Birch scored two runs on a double and a triple. Rebecca Rewinski singled and doubled in reaching base three times. Marissa Caron pitched a good game for Hebron and also had a hit. Emily Pintavalle had two hits. Andrea Jaskulski played well in the field and had a nice hit.
Enfield 5, Ellington 4.
Thursday, July 7th
Windsor II 6, Hebron 3. Windsor was led by good pitching from Lucia Barresi and Sam Visone and some great defensive play at third base from Kate Schofield. Emily Kopacz led the Windsor offense with a standup double and two RBI. Hebron pitchers Hannah Vignone and Marissa Caron kept the Windsor batters off balance all night, keeping the game close. Megan Leavens put on an offensive show for Hebron, going 3 for 3 with two RBI and three stolen bases.
West Hartford 12, Ellington 2. In a strong defensive game, West Hartford won over Ellington 10-2. Ashley Toth led the Ellington hitters with two strong singles and an RBI. Anna Zinzarella led the defensive effort for West Hartford, and Elena Pevar & Colleen Goroshko had good nights at the plate.
Canton 15, Glastonbury 7. Canton got good pitching from Gabby Rose, Lisa Crivelli and Olivia Sullivan to down Glastonbury 15-7. They were led on offense by Alex Powell, who had two hits and scored three runs, and Jill Pitraitis, who had a homerun and two runs scored. Melissa Howson pitched a good game for Glastonbury, and Meredith Keihl led the offense with a pair of hits.
Enfield 9, Granby 8.
South Windsor 7, Simsbury 0. (forfeit)

Windsor I at Windsor II - postponed by rain to Friday, July 22nd.
Sunday, July 10th
Windsor I 13, Canton 0. Windsor I defeated Canton 13-0 behind the pitching of Emily Parker. Gillian Flynn and Alisha Collazo led Windsor with three hits apiece. Alex Powell, Olivia Sullivan and Rachel Falcone were the offensive leaders for Canton.
Tuesday, July 12th
South Windsor 3, Enfield 0. South Windsor extinguished the Fireballs 3-0 as Peyton Silverman earned the win, fanning thirteen in a complete game one-hitter. Brook Wolejko provided the offense, reaching base three times, including a long double. Jenn Samsel and Ronnie Callahan each had two hits. Lisa Lusardi pitched well on the losing end of the pitcher's duel, recording eleven strikeouts in a complete game effort. Jordan Fritz had the lone Enfield hit. Donna Steiger played well defensively.
Granby 10, West Hartford 7. Granby beat West Hartford 10-7 on strong pitching and hitting from Sam Gilbert, who had two doubles and a triple and struck out twelve batters. Molly Hammack added three hits for Granby. For West Hartford, Marisa Mitrano caught a good game and Anna Zinzarella hit a 2-RBI double.
Windsor I 7, Canton 5.

Thursday, July 14th
West Hartford 10, Windsor II 2. In a strong defensive game West Hartford won over Windsor II 10-2. Kate Schofield led the Windsor hitters, going 2 for 3 with a triple and an RBI. Riry Morgan led West Hartford on the offensive with a triple. Julia Delutrie came in as the closer and shut Windsor down.
Windsor I 14, Simsbury 4. Windsor I defeated Simsbury 14-4 behind the pitching of Emily Parker and Macy Fenlason. They, along with Alisha Collazo, also led the winners offensively with two hits each. Briana Patria had two hits and Alexa Guglielmino played well behind the plate for Simsbury.
Canton 8, Enfield 6. Canton and Enfield played a close and exciting game. Enfield was led by Taylor Maier's triple and great play behind the plate, and by Katie Saltzgiver, who also had a triple and turned a nice double play. Canton was led by the fine pitching of Jill Petraitis, good defensive plays by Gabby Rose, and two hits each by Danielle Chouinard, Olivia Sullivan and Gabby Rose.
South Windsor 7, Ellington 3.

West Hartford 7, Windsor II 0. (forfeit)(from 6/23)
Tuesday, July 19th
Hebron 14, Granby 10. Hebron jumped out to 7-0 and then 10-2 leads but Granby fought back, scoring eight runs over the last four innings to keep the game close. Granby was led by the strong play of catcher Molly Hammack, who was very solid behind the plate, had two hits and reached safely four times. Kaitlyn Walker was called on as an emergency relief pitcher and allowed only one baserunner. Amanda Jacobs also played well for Granby. Marissa Caron pitched a complete game for Hebron and led the offense with three hits. Jess Henley played well behind the plate and added two hits. Christa Tierney, Jess Gilbert, Andrea Jaskulski and Sharon VanMeter played well on both sides of the ball for Hebron.
Enfield 6, Windsor I 2. Enfield defeated Windsor I 6-2 in a close game until late in Enfield. Kristen Serafin pitched five strong innings for Enfield, allowing only two runs to score while Emily Parker pitched four strong innings for Windsor I, also allowing only two runs. Lisa Lusardi pitched two shutout innings in relief for Enfield. Enfield managed to score four runs on one hit in the 6th inning, breaking a 2-2 tie. The Enfield offense was paced by Taylor Maier's double and Haley Soltys' 2-run single. Alisha Collazo led the Windsor hitters with a pair of hits.
Canton 6, South Windsor 3. Canton handed South Windsor their first loss as Jill Petraitis pitched a 4-hit complete game for the win. Offensively, Canton had seven players with at least one hit, led by Gabby Rose with a double and a triple, Rachel Falzone with a bases-clearing triple, and Amanda Gerosa's triple. Peyton Silverman pitched a fine game for South Windsor, striking out eight over seven innings. Amanda Shea, Becca Marchesseault, Alana Ferrante and Kalee Mabey all contributed on offense for South Windsor.
Simsbury 17, Glastonbury 13.

Wednesday, July 20th
West Hartford 12, Simsbury 8. In a strong defensive game, West Hartford downed Simsbury 12-8. Julia Delutrie led West Hartford's fielders with a diving catch for an out at first base. Elena Pevar started off the offense with a triple and Colleen Goroshko played a solid game on both sides of the ball. Simsbury's Morgan Perry singled in a pair of runs in the first inning after a long battle with the pitcher. Briana Patria tripled in the third inning and Mary Beth Alicona played very well at third base with several assists and putouts.
Thursday, July 21st
Hebron 6, Enfield 4. In a tight game, Hebron held off visiting Enfield 6-4. Mackenzie Vermette led Enfield's offense with a 2-run homerun. Kara Pacheco added two hits, a stolen base and a run scored and Lindsey Taupier had a hit and an RBI. Hebron pitchers Marissa Caron and Hannah Vignone combined for a great game and thirteen strikeouts. Hannah also had a run-scoring double. Meg Holmes had a two-run double, Elizabeth Hagearty doubled, singled and drove in a run, and Christa Tierney had two nice hits.
Ellington 13, Simsbury 5.
Windsor II at Granby - postponed by heat advisory to Thursday, August 4th.
Windsor I at West Hartford - postponed by heat advisory to Monday, August 1st.
South Windsor at Glastonbury - postponed by heat advisory to Monday, August 1st.
Friday, July 22nd
Windsor I 14, Windsor II 6. (from 7/8) Windsor I defeated Windsor II 14-6 under the lights at Welch Park. Windsor I was led by Alisha Collazo, Macy Fenlason, Katie Grennan and Olivia Biagioni, who all had multiple hits. Alize Aguilar belted a triple, while Amanda Dillon and Lucia Barresi were defensive standouts for Windsor II. It was a very well played games by both teams.
Monday, July 25th
South Windsor at Windsor I - postponed by rain to Sunday, July 31st.
Tuesday, July 26th
West Hartford at Simsbury - postponed by rain to Wednesday, August 3rd.
Glastonbury at Enfield (EHS) - postponed by rain to Thursday, August 4th.
Granby at Windsor I - postponed by rain to Wednesday, August 3rd.
Canton at Windsor II - postponed by rain to Monday, August 1st.
Hebron at Ellington - postponed by rain to Tuesday, August 2nd.
Thursday, July 28th
West Hartford 13, Canton 12. In an exciting game, Canton fought til the end but fell just short to the strong defensive game West Hartford played. Emma Plourd had a 2-run triple and great at bats for Canton and Jessica Cole also had a good game offensively, going 3 for 3. West Hartford was led by the pitching of Elena Pevar and Julia DeLutrie. Keleigh Brown made the game-winning catch and also had a 2-RBI double.
Granby 13, Simsbury 12. Granby was led offensively by Jaimee Kidd with three hits and Kaitlyn Walker with two hits, including a blast to deep centerfield. Marybeth Alicona and Jenna Gregoire smashed triples to deep right and deep left to pace Simsbury.
Hebron 7, South Windsor 6. In a very exciting game decided in the bottom of the 7th inning, Hebron defeated South Windsor 7-6. Lina Nguyen gave an outstanding effort for South Windsor, pitching a complete game and pacing the offense with four hits and two runs scored. Madison Donahue added two hits and scored two runs and Ronnie Callahan added a run-scoring triple. Hannah Vignone pitched a complete game for Hebron and added two hits, the second one driving in the game-winning run. The other key contributors for Hebron included Jess Gilbert with four hits, Meg Holmes with a 2-run double, and Casey Pinckney, whose speed on the basepaths got her into position to score the deciding run.
Enfield 11, Ellington 10.
Friday, July 29th
Canton 8, Granby 8 (tie). Granby led Canton 3-0 through the first 5 1/2 innings. Pitching and defense were solid for both teams. Emma Plourd led Canton's 6th inning offensive attack with an impressive homerun to right field. Emily Chouinard went 2 for 3 in the game with an RBI and a run scored for Canton. Granby came back strong in the bottom of the 7th inning with a key hit by Jess Storch and a big RBI double by Amanda Jacobs.
Windsor I 10, West Hartford 7. Windsor I took on a strong West Hartford team and came out the victors with a final score of 10-7. Windsor was led by the pitching of Emily Parker and the offense of Macy Fenlason and Drew Martin. West Hartford standouts included Sabrina Carreira and Keleigh Brown, who played well both offensively and defensively.
Sunday, July 31st
Windsor I 12, South Windsor 0. (from 7/25) Windsor I defeated South Windsor 12-0 under the lights in Windsor behind the pitching of Emily Parker and Macy Fenlason. Gillian Flynn went 2 for 2 for Windsor. Anne Hay and Madison Donahue gave outstanding performances for South Windsor. A great effort by both teams.
Monday, August 1st
Canton 20, Windsor II 18. (from 7/26) Windsor jumped out to an early lead but Canton came back to win a close game that reached the time limit after only six innings. Windsor's offense was led by Amanda Dillon (triple), Sophie Sirota (double) and Maddie Lee (2 hits, 2 walks, RBI). Sarah Martini and Sam Visone made great plays in the outfield for Windsor. Canton standouts included Rachel Falzone (homerun & triple), Jess Cole (2 for 4, 2 runs), Katie Hill (2 runs and a great job behind the plate) and Amanda Gerosa, whi hit the ball extremely well.
Windsor I at West Hartford (from 7/21) - postponed by rain to a later date.
South Windsor at Glastonbury (from 7/21) - postponed by rain to a later date.
Tuesday, August 2nd
Windsor I 12, Granby 10. Windsor I defeated a staff-shortened Granby team 12-10. Despite having only eight players, Granby played well behind the pitching of Devon Ide and the all around play of Sabrina Kopf. Macy Fenlason pitched a complete game for Windsor I. Alisha Collazo (4 hits) and Drew Martin (3 hits) led Windsor I offensively.
Enfield 3, South Windsor 0. Lisa Lusardi managed to get the better of Peyton Silverman in a pitcher's duel in South Windsor. Lusardi had twelve strikeouts while Silverman recorded seventeen. Timely bunting by Jordan Fritz and Kristen Serafin scored Hannah Lempitsky and Fritz for the first two runs of the game for Enfield. Mackenzie Vermette topped it off with a homerun to deep right field. South Windsor's offense was provided by Silverman, who had three hits in her three at bats.
Windsor II 13, Simsbury 3. Lucia Barresi pitched a complete game for Windsor and contributed two hits and two RBIs on offense. Amanda Dillon had a great defensive game behind the plate, throwing out two runners. She also had a two hit night and scored three runs. Kate Schofield had a pair of hits and two RBI and Emily Kopacz contributed three hits and also drove in two runs. Brianna Patria led the Simbury offense with three hits. Jenna Gregoire smacked a standup triple. Morgan Perry gave a solid defensive performance behind the plate and contributed two hits at the plate.
Hebron 8, Ellington 4. (from 7/26) Hebron won a tight game on the road against Ellington 8-4. Ellington jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning, but strong pitching by starter Marissa Caron and some timely defense and offense allowed Hebron to build a lead they would not relinquish. Marissa also paced the Hebron offense with four hits and two runs scored. Jess "White Shoes" Henley had two big hits and four RBIs for Hebron. Hannah Vignone pitched three innings of scoreless relief to help secure the win. Courtney Fitzsimons led Ellington's offensive attack with two hits, while Micaela Luginbuhl had a hit and a walk. Sarah Riley pitched well and Katherine Hany also had a good game on both sides of the ball for Ellington.
Wednesday, August 3rd
West Hartford 10, Simsbury 3. (from 7/26) In a strong defensive game, West Hartford edged Simsbury 10-8. Simsbury was led by Jenna Gregoire with a superb throw to home plate for an out, solid hitting from Brianna Patria and consistent defensive play by Caitlyn Clifford. Lauren Catalano pitched well but took the loss, striking out eight. West Hartford was led by the pitching of Elizabeth Lagoy and the defense of third baseman Sabrina Carreira. Jess Michaud had a great RBI bunt to fire up the hitting team. Kaitlin Fredette also batted well for the victors.
Granby 10, Windsor I 8. (from 7/26) With 16 total players combined for both sides to start the game, Granby beat Windsor I in a well played game by both teams. Rachel Wojciak led Granby pitching and Emelia Escudero had a key 2-run single to seal the victory. Windsor was led by Drew Martin, who smacked three hits.
Thursday, August 4th
Windsor I 11, Hebron 10. Windsor I defeated Hebron 11-10 in extra innings in a very exciting and well played game by both teams. Gillian Flynn's triple scored Drew Martin to win the game in the bottom of the 9th inning.
Windsor II 16, Granby 4. (from 7/21) For Windsor, Alize Aguilar, Sophie Sirota and Sam Visone each reached base safely four times. Lucia Barresi had three hits and another good night in the circle. The entire Windsor team played well in the field, despite being shorthanded with only eight players. Granby's Sabrina Kopf had a 3-hit game with two singles and a standup double. Natalie Muller contributed a hit and had a solid game defensively.
Canton 12, Simsbury 8. Rachel Falzone (single, stolen base, RBI) and Emma Plourd (double, two runs scored) led Canton past Simsbury in the last game of the regular season. Simsbury's Caitlyn Clifford made outstanding defensive plays all night and Alexa Guglielmino contributed with a pair of super hits.
South Windsor 14, Ellington 10.
Enfield 14, Glastonbury 3. (from 7/26)
