- Monday, June 20th
Enfield 5, Manchester 2. Dallas Fonck pitched Enfield to a 5-2 opening night win over Manchester, striking out nine. Playing great defense for the Fireballs were Emily Quail, Serena Manzi and Liz Rogers, each with some amazing catches. Michelle Rivera hit a long, RBI-double. For Manchester, Lauren Bis pitched a great game, striking out four batters. Lauren Silver was strong behind the plate and solid hitting by Cam Dias kept the game close.
Windsor 3, Canton 0. Windsor opened with a 3-0 win over visiting Canton behind a total team effort. Christina Cardwell pitched very well for Canton.
Suffield 13, East Hartford 10 (8 innings). Suffield scored four runs in the top of the 7th inning to tie the game, and then scored five more times in the top of the 8th inning and held on for a hard fought 13-10 victory over East Hartford. Kacey Gifford was the winning pitcher for Suffield and also had three hits, including a homerun. Julia Rolla reached base three times with two hits and a walk and Katelyn Corr had two hits and scored two runs for Suffield. Olivia Gonzalez, Suzanne Vachon and Erica McKinley led the offense for East Hartford.
South Windsor 7, Ashford 0 (forfeit).

West Hartford 13, Granby 2. Lianna Pevar pitched a complete game for the win and opened things up offensively for West Hartford in the first inning with a two-out, bases-clearing double. Charlotte Moller and Sarah Allen each added two-run doubles, while Noelle Ouellette and Caroline Karanian had RBI hits. Moller and Colleen Corrigan crossed the plate three times each for West Hartford. Erin Walsh had two hits and scored a run for Granby, and Gabbi Stahl added a hit and scored a run.
- Monday, June 27th
Glastonbury 16, Hebron 3. Glastonbury won on the road, defeating Hebron 16-3. Liz Caporale went three for three, including a long triple, and Delaney Kehoe added a double and a triple. Jenna Garrison pitched well in relief after Taylor MacDowell fought her way through two innings on the rubber.
Ashford 14, Manchester 8. Samantha Ridzon pitched six strong innings, striking out nine, as Ashford downed visiting Manchester 14-8. Ashford's bats came out strong with triples by Sara Brunett and Ally Nolan and a double by Sarah Rup. Brunett also had a double and a single. Manchester's Dylan Piacenta had a double and Shannon Hill had two key bunts and scored twice. Ariel Hlavaty and Kayla Terry-Wemmell both played well at catcher.
Enfield 5, Granby 4. Enfield received good pitching from Katie Sirois and Dallas Fonck to edge Granby 5-4. A couple of solid hits by Sam Wilder and Emily Quail won the game for Enfield in the bottom of the 7th inning. Solid hitting by Granby included a long double by Erin Walsh. Jen Szilagyi pitched very well but took the loss.
West Hartford 10, East Hartford 5. East Hartford rushed out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning when Olivia Gonzalez crushed a three-run home run to left field. But West Hartford pitcher Noelle Ouellette settled in nicely and did not allow another run through her four innings of work to earn the win. Sarah Allen and Caroline Karanian each drove in two runs, and Charlotte Moller sparked a five-run rally for West Hartford with a key hit in the sixth to break open what had been a tight contest throughout. Moller shined defensively at third base and first base, and Alyssa Rossmeisl had a hit and played well in centerfield. Gonzalez pitched a great game for East Hartford, supported by two hits from Kevi Oatway.
Windsor 6, Simsbury 1. Molly Parker and Mary Deneen combined to pitch Windsor past Simsbury 6-1. Alisha Collazo led the offense, going 3 for 3 and driving in a run. Gillian Flynn had two hits and an RBI. Alex McDermott had a good game for Simsbury.
Canton 7, Suffield 1. Christina Cardwell pitched a complete game to get the win, striking out three. Amber Batan led the offense, going 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs and a run scored. Brittany King had a double and scored Canton's first run, and Rachel Asnes played solid defense at shortstop. Laura Somerville pitched well for Suffield, recording seven strikeouts. Rebecca Masi also had a good game for Suffield.
South Windsor 15, Stafford 0.
- Wednesday, June 29th
Glastonbury 6, South Windsor 0. Lindsey Musco was terrific in the circle, striking out eight and allowing only three hits in the complete game shutout. South Windsor was led by the strong fielding and solid hits of Arielle Thomas, Haley Moquin and Kiersten Skinner. Jenna Garrison and Layna DiMarco had key hits for Glastonbury in the 3-run second inning.
Manchester 11, Hebron 11 (tie). In an exciting game with ties and multiple lead changes, Manchester and Hebron fought to an 11-11 tie. Erin Kilpatrick had two hits to help pace the Manchester offense. Audrey Ames and Daria Marvasti played well on both sides of the ball for Manchester. Lauren Bis pitched well and saved her best for last, getting Hebron in order in the bottom of the 7th to preserve the tie. Meg Holmes led Hebron's offense with a 3-run homerun. Kendra Dootson and Emily Pintavalle each added two hits, and played well defensively. Jess Henley played great behind the plate, throwing out a couple of baserunners.
Granby 6, Suffield 1. Laura Somerville pitched well for Suffield, striking out ten batters, and also had a triple, scoring Suffield's run. Lauren Gifford, Carissa Vavalle and Taylor Schwab each had a hit for Suffield. Erin Walsh and Samantha Arnone both pitched well for Granby, combining for eight strikeouts. Meaghan Schultheis had an RBI-double and Sam Arnone scored two runs for Granby. Other key hits for the winners came from Jenny Szilagyi, Amanda Jacobs and Jolene Bascom.
Windsor 6, Ashford 0. Mary Deneen and Molly Parker combined for a one-hit shutout of Ashford. Parker's two doubles and Macy Fenlason's 2-run homerun were the big hits for Windsor.
Enfield 18, Stafford 7. Enfield started slowly but got their bats working in the 3rd inning. Michelle Rivera had three big hits and the rest of the team was rock-steady in the field. Emily Bradway showed some great pitching for Stafford and Jailene Rivera & Alexis Clavette came up with solid defensive plays.
East Hartford 6, Canton 4.
Simsbury 2, West Hartford 1.
- Thursday, June 30th
Glastonbury 13, Manchester 8. Jenna Garrison pitched well to earn the complete game victory. Manchester kept chipping away at Glastonbury's lead and kept the pressure on throughout the game. Lauren Bis pitched a solid game for Manchester. Liz Caporale smacked two doubles for Glastonbury and Ashley Maher had clutch RBIs.
- Wednesday, July 6th
West Hartford 7, Canton 4. West Hartford scored five runs in the top of the first inning, led by a bases-clearing double from Caroline Karanian and an RBI-triple from Noelle Ouellette. Canton clawed their way back with an excellant team hitting display and a steady pitching performance by Christina Cardwell. Brittany King crushed an RBI-double in the fourth inning and later came around to score to pull Canton within two runs, but West Hartford's Lianna Pevar responded with an RBI-double in the sixth and later scored on a single by Ouellette. Alyssa Rossmeisl and Michelle Joseph made nice catches in the outfield for West Hartford, and Julia Appicelli played an outstanding defensive game at first base.
Simsbury 11, Suffield 0. Simsbury defeated Suffield 11-0 after 5 innings of play. Taryn Braz struck out eight in the circle and Laura Yablecki led the offense for Simsbury with a triple and a double. Anna Boucher made two terrific defensive plays at shortstop for Suffield.
Manchester 5, Stafford 2. Manchester was led offensively by Cam Dias and Kayla Wemmell. Shannon Turgeon pitched a 3-hitter, supported by a defense led by Kristin Campolongo. Jamie Sierra paced the Stafford offense with a triple. They were led defensively by catcher Jailene Rivera and Bryanne Auguste.
Enfield 19, Ashford 4. The Enfield bats were working well in the 19-4 win over Ashford. Hitting well for Enfield were Samantha Wilder, Serena Manzi and Elizabeth Rogers, who hit a homerun for the visiting Fireballs. Ashford's Sam Ridzon pitched well for the Panthers and Allison Nolan played well defensively.

- Saturday, July 9th
Simsbury 10, Granby 0. Alie Garry pitched six strong innings, striking out six and giving up only three hits. Alex McDermott, Jamie Kalogeros , Laura Yablecki and Lindsey LoStimolo led the offense for Simsbury. Defensively for Simsbury, Jess Palmberg made a super catch in right center by running down a hard hit ball in the gap for the out. Granby's Rachel Costolnick (1-3) and Molly Hammack (2-2) led Granby's offense.
- Monday, July 11th
Hebron 14, Stafford 5. In a well played game by both teams, Hebron defeated Stafford on the road 14-5. Hebron jumped out to a 7-0 lead but Stafford fought back in the middle innings and kept it very close with good pitching and defense until the final innings. Hebron was led by solid pitching from Jaime Harvey and Allison Lagassie. Hebron's offense was led by Casey Pinckney with four hits and three RBIs, while Marissa Caron and Lindsay Cochefski also played well on both sides of the ball. Stafford was led by the good play of Miranda Daab, Amanda Sylvain and Keighlee Szafir.
West Hartford 10, Suffield 0. Lianna Pevar pitched a complete game shutout for her third victory of the season. Sarah Allen went 2 for 3 and Caroline Karanian hit a triple to spark the West Hartford offense, while Jenn Lohneiss drove in two runs and scored twice. Charlotte Moller made the play of the game early on, leaping high in the air at first base to snare a hard line drive that was headed down the right field line with Suffield runners on base. Lauren Gifford, Erin McGann and Katie Mahoney each had hits for Suffield.
Canton 11, Granby 2. Canton allowed two runs in the first inning and then held Granby for the rest of the game. Christina Cardwell pitched a complete game, recording two strikeouts. Granby's Sam Arnone pitched the first four innings, allowing only three runs. Canton's bats came alive in the 5th and 6th innings, scoring eight runs. Brittany King was 2-4, with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Liz Mutch also was 2-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Granby's Jenny Szilagyi hit a double in the first inning and shortstop Amanda Jacobs recorded a double play to end the 4th inning.
Simsbury 5, Manchester 0. Simsbury's Alie Garry and Manchester's Shannon Turgeon both pitched well in the circle. Alie had ten Ks for Simsbury and Shannon fanned eight for Manchester. Simsbury played solid all around defense for the shutout. Offensively, they were led by Jamie Kalogeros (2-4), Laura Yablecki (2-3) and Lindsey LoStimolo (2-3) who each had a pair of singles. Manchester's Cam Dias and Kristin Campolongo combined on a nice double play on defense.
Ashford 14, Glastonbury 9. Ashford's Rebecka Kent had a great game at the plate with a homerun, two triples and a double. Brianna Cordero also had a hot bat, reaching base each time she was up, with two triples and two singles. Samantha Malecki earned the win, striking out eight. Leyna DiMarco and Cassidy Longo both had good games offensively for Glastonbury.
East Hartford 9, Windsor 5.
South Windsor 10, Enfield 0.
- Wednesday, July 13th
Simsbury 2, Canton 0. Simsbury recorded their fourth straight shutout, blanking Canton 2-0. Taryn Braz pitched a no-hitter, striking out twelve, and came within a hit batsman of notching a perfect game. The overall defense for Simsbury was very solid, playing errorless ball. Jamie Kalogeros led Simsbury's offense, going 2 for 3. Laura Yablecki and Taryn Braz each drove in a run. Canton's Christina Cardwell pitched seven strong innings and Canton's defense was equally impressive.
West Hartford 13, Windsor 1. Pitcher Noelle Ouellette did not allow a hit and West Hartford played steady team defense behind her in the team's win over Windsor. Colleen Corrigan had a hit and scored two runs for West Hartford, while Molly Swanson had a hit and two RBI. Kristen Young scored for Windsor.
East Hartford 14, Granby 11.
Suffield 14, Stafford 7. Anna Boucher and Kacey Gifford combined on a 4-hitter as Suffield beat Stafford 14-7. Erin McGann had two hits and scored three runs, while Sam Thomas and Anna Boucher had two hits each for Suffield. Mikayla Fish, Emily Bradway, who reached base three times, and Karen Shirk, who had two hits, played well for Stafford.

West Hartford 12, Granby 2. Noelle Ouellette struck out eight in four innings of work to earn the win for West Hartford. Colleen Corrigan had a huge night at the plate with two triples and a double, and Sarah Allen went 3 for 3. Ouellette, Becky Hoisl and Caroline Karanian added two hits each for West Hartford. Brittany Schultz pitched well for Granby and Austin Ebersole & Molly Hammack each had a hit.

- Wednesday, July 20th
Glastonbury 1, Hebron 0. Glastonbury defeated visiting Hebron 1-0. Lindsey Musco and Jaime Harvey had a classic pitcher's duel. Musco threw a no-hitter for Glastonbury and allowed only three baserunners. Harvey stifled Glastonbury's lineup throughout the contest with both teams playing terrific defense. Delaney Kehoe reached on a hard shot she hit to third, stole second and third, and scored when a throw went awry. Liz Caporale was cat-quick at 3rd base for Glastonbury. Hebron's catcher, Jess Henley, gunned down two baserunners and reached base twice. Marissa Navin covered acres of ground in centerfield for Hebron and denied several solid hits from the opposition.
Simsbury 10, Windsor 5. Simsbury defeated Windsor 10-5 as Taryn Braz pitched seven strong innings, striking out twelve batters. The leading hitters for Simsbury were Laura Yablecki (4-4), Jamie Kalogeros (2-4) and Taryn Braz (2-4). Laura had two singles, a double and a triple. Windsor pitcher Mary Deneen also pitched seven innings, recording four strikeouts. Alisha Collazo had a solid defensive game behind the plate.
Canton 12, Suffield 10. Host Suffield started the scoring with a pair of runs off Canton starter Christina Cardwell. Canton exploded for six hits and eight runs in the third inning, highlighted by doubles from Liz Mutch and Kylie Delos. Canton scored four more in the next frame with a triple from Jess Falzone and a double from Marina McDonald to take a 12-2 lead. Suffield answered with three runs behind back-to-back triples from Anna Boucher and Laura Somerville, then tallied five more in the bottom of the 5th to cut the lead to 12-10. The score remained the same until the bottom of the 7th, when Kasey Gifford laced a two-out single and promptly stole second, bringing the tieing run to the plate.
The game ended on a ground ball, with Christina Cardwell throwing to Brittany King at first base for the final out. Laura Somerville pitched a complete game for Suffield, striking out six. The game was recorded by CPTV for future broadcast on the Connecticut Sports Network (CTSN).

West Hartford 9, Canton 7. West Hartford came from behind to defeat Canton behind the bats of Becky Hoisl, Elle Fontanazza, Charlotte Moller and Noelle Ouellette with two hits each. Ouellette picked up the win in the circle with four strong innings of relief. Canton was led by Liz Mutch and Olivia Bonini with two hits apiece and Rachel Asnes with three runs scored.
Manchester 12, Stafford 0. Pitcher Lauren Bis did not allow a hit and drove in two runs as Manchester played steady team defense behind her in their win over Stafford. Cam Dias led the offense with two long doubles and two RBIs, and Kat McCoy also had two hits. Lauren Silver was solid behind the plate and Kayla Terry-Wemmell handled numerous opportunities at first base. For Stafford, Jamie Sierra and Amanda Sylvain handled the catching duties well and Mikayla Field played strong in the field.
South Windsor 7, Hebron 5.

Simsbury 10, West Hartford 6. (from 7/25) Taryn Braz pitched seven innings to get the "W". Simsbury tied the game in the bottom of the 6th inning with a great suicide bunt by Alie Garry to score Alex McDermott. Then, with two outs in the same inning with the bases loaded, Simsbury's Shelby Seaman crushed a triple to deep left to open the game up. West Hartford was led by catcher Charlotte Moller and shortstop Becky Hoisl, who had three hits apiece.
Enfield 14, Stafford 3. (from 7/26) Homeruns by Sam Wilder and Elizabeth Rogers capped a nice display of batting by the Enfield Fireballs. Jamie Sierra of Stafford showed great prowess at shortstop and the catcher position. Raeanna Tumel pitched well and Miranda Daab had a nice hit for Stafford.

Glastonbury 10, Manchester 5. (from 7/18) Taylor MacDowell went the distance for Glastonbury in the pitching circle and stayed strong throughout the game. Excellant defense was contributed by Katie Connolly at third base and Kayla Oscarson in right field. Sam Mello contributed a solid game behind the plate. It was a perfect summer night for softball and the game was played at New State Road Park under the lights. Manchester received a strong pitching performance from Shannon Turgeon, who gave up very little solid contact. Shannon Hill reached base three times for Manchester and Lauren Bis banged out two solid hits.

,b>West Hartford 17, Hebron 4. Sarah Allen went 4 for 4 for West Hartford, including a two-run homerun, and Alyssa Rossmeisl added three hits, including a triple. Charlotte Moller had two hits and three RBI, and Colleen Corrigan & Caroline Karanian added two hits each for West Hartford. Hannah Vignone had two hits for Hebron, and Marissa Caron had a hit and scored twice.

West Hartford 9, Suffield 0. Noelle Ouellette homered, Becky Hoisl tripled, and Elle Fontanazza & Charlotte Moller each doubled to power West Hartford over a valiant but short-handed Suffield squad. Molly Swanson pitched her best game of the year with two hits and a couple of defensive gems at third base. Michelle Joseph continued her consistent defensive play with another great catch in right field for West Hartford. Lauren Gifford and Carissa Vavalle both had nice hits for Suffield.
Granby 7, Canton 2. Granby downed Canton 7-2 as Erin Walsh went the distance, striking out eleven and contributing a single and double at the plate. Jenny Szilagyi made a nice double play to end a Canton rally with the bases loaded. Jolene Bascom drove in two runs with a single in the first inning. Meaghan Schultheis played well at catcher, picking a runner off third base with the bases loaded and also making a nice catch on a pop-up behind the plate. Amber Batan had an RBI-single and Olivia Bonini had an RBI-double to account for Canton's runs.
Hebron 10, Stafford 1.
South Windsor 9, Enfield 0.

- Thursday, August 4th
Simsbury 7, East Hartford 3. Simsbury jumped to a 4-0 lead with a five-hit first inning. Taryn Braz pitching seven strong innings, recording five strikeouts. The Simsbury offense was led by Alex McDermott (2-4), Lindsey LoStimolo (2-4) and Taryn Braz (2-4). The Simsbury defense turned a crucial 1-2-3 double play with one out and the bases loaded to end a possible East Hartford rally. Olivia Gonzalez and Megan Kennedy both pitched well for East Hartford, with Gonzalez helping her own cause by going 2 for 4 at the plate.
Windsor 3, Canton 1. (from 8/1)
- Monday, August 8th
Canton 2, Simsbury 1. Canton held Simsbury scoreless until the 6th inning when Taryn Braz scored on a passed ball. Canton played awesome defense, with Simsbury leaving the bases loaded in the first inning, and Brittany King's double play in the third inning stopping Simsbury again. Canton's Liz Mutch had a beautiful triple but was left stranded. Taryn Braz pitched a complete game for Simsbury, striking out twelve, and went 2 for 4 at the plate with a single, double and the team's only run scored. Christina Cardwell also pitched a complete game, striking out three, and hit the game-winning double in the bottom of the 7th inning, scoring Rose Minichiello from second base.
